Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is an upcoming Bollywood comedy drama film written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film stars Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapur in the lead roles,while Arya Babbar and Shabana Azmi will appear in the supporting roles. Filming began on 14 February 2012. The film is all set to release on 11 January, 2013.

The first trailer of the film was released on October 2012 on YouTube which creates a lot of buzz due to bold act of Anushka Sharma. About her character in the film, Anushka says, “I play a strong headed, outspoken girl in the film. My look highlights the bold approach of the character.” The actress however seemed more appreciative of Imran’s look.“I think he looks hot in the film,”
