A murder mystery film directed by Anurag Basu in which a deaf man ( Ranbir Kapoor) and a mentally challenged woman (Priyanka Chopra) unite to solve the mystery surrounding the murder of the former's wife (Ileana D'Cruz).

In the film, Ranbir Kapoor reportedly plays the role of a deaf person. Priyanka Chopra will play the role of a mentally challenged girl, for which she will attend a mental asylum to get into the skin of her role. While, Telugu Tollywood actress, Ileana D'Cruz will play the role of the narrator. Earlier, Katrina Kaif and Asin were being considered for roles in the film.
