Anil Dalmia and Manoj Nandwana, producer and distributor respectively, of the film "Diary Of A Butterfly" are apparently getting threatening calls from Pakistan - to not release the film in India.

Both Dalmia and Nandwana have registered a complaint in the Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai, and have mentioned they are getting threatening calls from various numbers with the ISD codes belonging to Pakistan, since the last four days.

The film is based on the Nira Radia 2G scam. When contacted, Nandwana said, "Since February 20, I am getting these calls, which I later came to know is a Pakistan number. Initially, I thought it might be a prank call.

A woman named Rehana D'Souza started repeatedly calling me and sending me abusive messages, so I approached the police and have now registered a complaint at the Oshiwara Police Station.

When I stopped taking the calls from one particular number, they started using another number. The lady also said that she will complain about my abusive behaviour and will register a complaint against me."

He further added, "This woman has been asking me not to release the film, and that if I did, I should be ready to face the consequences. Since then, I have stopped taking calls from that number.

Somebody called me on my landline number. I am not too sure, but as the film is inspired by the Nira Radia case and has some shades of political lobbying, it might bring the case into limelight again. And there are people who are against it."
