Actor Vivek Oberoi and singer Mika Singh seemed to had formed a mutual admiration club during a recent event pertaining to upcoming film 'Kismat Love Paisa Dilli' and Mika even went to the extent of saying that Vivek is quite lucky for him. On his part, director Sanjay Khanduri spoke about the movie and said that it is a laugh riot.
Vivek Oberoi and singer Mika Singh spotted on the sets of Vivek Oberoi's new film Kismat, Love, Paisa, Dilli. Mallika Sherawat is playing female lead and Sanjay Khanduri is the director of the film.
Kismat Love Paisa Dilli is a sequel to 2007 hit Ek Chalis Ki Last Local and this film a new star cast has been featured unlike the original one. Ek Chalis Ki Last Local starred Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia in the lead roles. But this time it is Mallika Sherawat and Vivek Oberoi in the leads.
Anshuman Jha is happy about his character in film and says, “He is like an innocent-faced devil. The character is a bit surreal and has shades of grey.”
But it took long to sign a film Anshuman isn’t it? He says, “We had some date issues. Now it’s sorted. I will be shooting for KLPD for a week now and then go to Latur to shoot for Janaki’s film. There on, I’ll resume shooting for KLPD in February.”He has been busy shooting for Boys Toh Boys Hai by Amit Singh Chauhan. And he was also committed to the director from south Janaki Viswanathan’s debut Bollywood film Bakhra.
He is too happy with his career pace and performance. “When Sanjay met me he said that he had me in mind for this particular character when he was writing the script,” he says, adding that there isn’t any love triangle of sorts. “My character is pivotal to the whole story but he has his own track and journey in the film. It is completely different from Rahul in LSD. For the first time, the audience will see me doing action in the film,” he says.
Doing a Bollywood film doesn’t mean that Mallika Sherawat is back from Hollywood. The lady is back to shoot for her upcoming film Kismat Love Paise Dilli (KLPD). Mallika has been in US for a long time now. This time got back to India for shooting of Amit Chandra’s productions.Trying to juggle her dates in such a way that she neither loses Bollywood deals nor she overlooks Hollywood work, she has planned to wrap up the shooting of KLPD in three months.
A source reveals, “Mallika Sherawat is under contract not to talk about the film until an official announcement has been made before shooting starts.” Reportedly Mallika Sherawat has clarified to the crew of KLPD that she is expected to return to US after the shooting of the film is over. However she will be back once the promotional activities start for the film.Amit Chandra, the producer of KLPD says, “Mallika has told us about her commitments in US, for which she needs to be back in Los Angeles by mid Feb. So we will wrap up the entire film starting from December 15 onwards, in a continuous schedule.”
For this film Mallika would be taking workshops in Haryana for learning the dialect. Though she is a Haryanvi girl by birth, yet she wants to learn the language.Mallika is in news for one more reason. She was offered a film form Yash Raj Banner. But she has refused the offer saying ‘Just like that’.
