For the sequel to the Rahul Roy-Anu Agarwal starrer, the Bhatts have coined a unique strategy to find a fresh lead pair. This is a great platform for two youngsters hidden under a coat (just like the original film’s poster) to rediscover Aashiqui’s magic. Our banner, Vishesh Films, takes pride in not only making films, but also making destinies.”
The film, directed by Mohit Suri, will go on the floors by year-end. Mukesh says, “I work with franchises that I’ve created. They are like stars for me.”Ask him why, if he claims to be committed to launching fresh talent, Emraan Hashmi is a constant figure in his films and he quips, “Because he is a star now and is family to us.
