Contrary to news-reports , the sequel to the blockbuster will have the same leading lady opposite Chulbul Pandey - Sonakshi Sinha.

"This is not PARTNER, which had men with roving eyes , moving from one girl to another," Arbaaz Khan smiles. Salman had wed Sonakshi in DABANGG and the story, therefore, will move forward in the sequel.

Prakash Raj will enact the main negative role in the film. "He's the negative force opposite Chulbul Pandey," Arbaaz divulges. Deepak Dobriyal and Nikitin Dheer have been signed to enact key roles in the film.

A leading studio has offered an unheard of price for the global rights of DABANGG 2, but Arbaaz has decided against selling the film right now. "I am in no hurry to sell the film. I have decided to wait for the time being. Will take a call later," Arbaaz says.

A section of the industry feels that DABANGG 2 might not make it at Christmas this year. "It's a Christmas release," Arbaaz adds.
