Ishaqzaade has new comer Arjun Kapoor, son of prolific producer Boney Kapoor along with Parineeti Chopra, cousin of Prianka chopra are in lead roles.

Arjun was set to debut in Virus Diwan, however, Ishaqzaade was later designed for Arjun by Yash Raj Films. Amit Trivedi was selected to compose music for the film, while Kausar Munir will pen the lyrics. Rekha and Chinni Prakash, national award winners for Jodhaa Akbar was chosen for choreographing, while action director Sham Kaushal was casted to handle the action part.
